Gardens and Art in Phoenix

I left early this morning and arrived at the Desert Botanical Garden at 8:00 a.m., it’s opening time. It’s quite large, and took me about an hour to walk through.

Next I checked out the Japanese Friendship Garden. It’s small but tranquil.

The Phoenix Art Museum was next on the list. I enjoyed exploring this museum, but they had one level shut down because they’re starting a new exhibition soon.

This last one is entitled, ” Jack and Diane”, I’m assuming from John Mellencamp’s song.

I reached my 10,000 steps and was back to my Airbnb before noon. I made a large salad which included salmon and avocado along with veggies. Then I took a two hour nap, don’t you just love naps? I think I’ll explore Scottsdale tomorrow.
