Exploring Santa Barbara, California

I left Solvang this morning and drove less than an hour to Arroyo Burro beach in Santa Barbara. Someone asked me to take their photo and then I asked them to take mine.

I drove a short way to Shoreline Park for a brief stop.

I found a parking spot near Stearns Wharf and took a stroll on it.

This is the multi-use path next to the ocean

Jeannine’s at The Shore was just down from there and I had brunch. Very cute place and excellent food!

I drove a few minutes to the Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden.

And I checked out the Rose Garden at Old Mission Santa Barbara.

I explored some of downtown Santa Barbara. I really like the vibe here.

That’s the courthouse

I took a nap at my Airbnb and then went out for dinner at the Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach. I was here earlier this morning, but it looks different when the sun’s out.

Delicious fish and veggies

After dinner I drove a few minutes down the coast to Mesa Lane Beach.  There are lots of steps.

It was a good day!
