Moving to Golden

Last week a friend helped me move some things to an Airbnb in Golden where I’ll be for 4 and 1/2 months beginning mid-September. Her jaw dropped when she saw the view from the family room and from out on the deck. I’m looking forward to seeing that view in all different lights.

Thursday I went for a hike with a Meetup group to Lost Lake via the Hessie Trail. It was about 6 mi with a 750 ft elevation gain. We passed a burbling creek.

We walked around the lake once we arrived and it was gorgeous!

We even saw some moose…

I went for a couple of solo hikes in the last few days. I saw wildlife and beauty, what more can you ask for?
