Walking the Sunset Cliffs Trail

A couple of the hikes I wanted to do in San Diego were closed because of the government shutdown, thanks Trump, but I was able to walk the 2-mile Sunset Cliffs Trail. It was really pretty.  I saw lots of birds, a couple of surfers, and a guy on one of those riding things. There were signs everywhere not to go on the cliffs because they were unstable, so I was surprised when he suddenly zipped up the side of the hill on that thing. He said hello and smiled, I think he liked that I was taking his photo. 😁

I wanted to visit the Cabrillo National Monument and see the shoreline there, but it was closed. On the way back I stopped at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery and took a couple of photos. It’s a pretty cemetery by the sea!

Not sure what today will bring.

I'd love to hear what you have to say
