A couple of days ago, I took a day trip via a 2.5 hour bus from Cordoba to Granada. I originally had a train ticket, but the trains have been delayed and/or cancelled because of the flooding and a fatal accident earlier this month. Luckily, the weather has been much better during the second half of February. I was here back in 2017, but mainly just saw the highlights. Once I arrived, I had a taxi take me to the San Miguel Alto viewpoint. The views were spectacular!

I had prepared a self-guided walking tour from there. I didn’t realize what I was getting into. The walk down was precarious. I passed what looked like a shanty village (with solar panels).

Once I was down the “mountain” I walked through the lovely Albacian neighborhood.

I stopped at some plazas and fountains on my way to the Catedral. Street photography is so much fun!

I leave Sunday for my month stay in Malaga. I’ve had lots of time in Cordoba to plan my future travels as a nomad. It’s going to be an amazing year!
You visit such beautiful places, dear Sherry, and Granada looks like a marvelous experience. Sending best wishes and happiness your way, my lovely friend 🌺✨🤗
