A quick summary of my final week in Spain: I witnessed one of the many holy week celebrations from my window. There were live marching bands and the procession was quite spectacular.

My landlord took me for a drive along the coast, stopping for lunch and ice cream. She doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Spanish, so I used Google’s live, real-time translation feature “Live Translate”, which works great.

Last night I stayed in Chama, New Mexico after traveling for 3 days. My first flight was to London where I spent the night. The following day I was upgraded to business class on my 10 hour British Airways direct flight to Denver. It was a wonderful surprise!

Yesterday’s drive was supposed to be 7 hours, but ended up being 9 hours because I drove through a mountainous white out blizzard that was very scary 😬 Today I drive to Kanab, Utah where I’ll spend a month.
