I departed my Airbnb in the Rhododendron/Mt. Hood area and drove 1 ½ hrs. to the Cape Horn Lookout on the Washington side. There’s an amazing view!

Next, I hiked the almost 2 mile Beacon Rock trail. It has 53 switchbacks, so that’s 106 by the time you get back down.

I was starving after that so I drove across the Bridge of the Gods back into Oregon and had a late breakfast at Bridgeside restaurant. Here’s the view of the bridge from the restaurant.

Then I hiked 2 miles on the Wahclella Falls trail.

Next I stopped at Home Valley Park. I rested and waited until check-in time for my Airbnb in Carson, Washington.

My view 😊
Beautiful views and nature 💛
