Providence Canyon State Park, Georgia


Today I drove 4 hours from Navarre Beach to Providence Canyon State Park, Georgia.  I hiked the 2.2 mile Canyon loop trail.  The geology of the area is very cool! The trail isn’t difficult, although there is some elevation change, all within about 1/3 of a mile, as you can see from the photo below.

There were some abandoned cars from an old homestead on the trail.

From there, I drove a little over 2 hours to my Airbnb in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Tomorrow I plan on visiting the botanical garden and the High Museum of Art in Atlanta.
