Knoxville, Tennessee

I decided last night that instead of hiking at two more Georgia State Parks today, I would go shopping, get a pedicure, and do my 2-mile walking tour in Knoxville.  I just felt hiked out. So, this morning I drove through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  I’ve been to the park numerous times, so I didn’t stop to see anything. There were gorgeous views along the way! I stopped at an outlet mall near there, and purchased a couple of items.  Then I got a pedicure and drove to Knoxville and explored.  I’ve driven through Knoxville many times, but I’ve never walked around downtown. I went to Market Square and a park.

I had lunch… Not the healthiest, but I didn’t know the fish would be fried. It seems like everything down south is fried.

I’m at my Airbnb, it’s not what I expected, but it will do.  It’s been a nice 9-day getaway. I’m ready to go home.
