Yesterday, I drove almost three hours from Mill Valley to my Airbnb in Santa Cruz. I stopped in Pacifica to check out the pier area. It was very foggy driving there but then it cleared up some.

I stopped a few more times to take photos of interesting rock formations along the coast.

Shark Fin Cove was cool!

When I arrived in Santa Cruz I was surprised, I wasn’t expecting an amusement park at the boardwalk. I walked on the Pier and got some shots from there.

It was still too early to check into my Airbnb so I drove to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and hiked the one mile Redwood Grove loop Trail.

I settled in at my Airbnb. I’m still deciding on today’s activities, based on the weather.

That’s a fantastic part of the California Coast, isn’t it? We drove part of it, from Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz, in 2021:

Beautiful photos! Yes, it is very scenic. I’ll be going all the way down to Santa Monica. I know that a landslide will prevent me from doing the entire Big Sur region.

Very nice place, I think the huge tree is one of the main attraction.
