Hiking in Garden of the Gods and exploring downtown Colorado Springs

Yesterday morning I hiked the 1.8 mile Palmer, Upper Loop, and Central Garden Trail Loop. It was beautiful! I see why it’s called Garden of the Gods. It’s also cool since it’s free. There was some elevation change, so I got to see some of the rock formations from up above.

Next I hiked the 1.2 mile Siamese Twins via Cabin Canyon Loop. There was another doggie with goggles on 😅

Balanced Rock was cool!

I went to a couple of overlooks and there were some fantastic views! These guys were there for wedding photos and agreed to let me take a pic.

I drove the short distance to downtown Colorado Springs and walked around a bit. I liked the vibe of the city.

I’ll post about my visit to the lovely Broadmoor Hotel tomorrow.
