Driving from Fajardo to San Juan, Puerto Rico

Tuesday morning, I was packing to leave Fajardo and realized my wallet was missing. I had been on the boat tour to Culebra the day before. I checked everywhere, including my car, but couldn’t find it. I always travel with two wallets, one that has some money, an extra credit card, and debit card. I also have a photocopy of my credit cards, driver’s license, medical insurance, and debit card that I keep in my suitcase.  I stayed calm and called the boat company, but no wallet had been turned in. I knew I would have to make a police report.  I was headed to San Juan and was going to do it there. When I stopped for gas a little later, I checked don the side of my driver seat car, and it was there. I was relieved! I thought I had thoroughly searched the car.

There’s a lot of trash and littering in Puerto Rico. I’ve been told it’s part of the culture. Anyway, at one of the beaches I stopped at, I was happy to see these young people collecting garbage.

I was able to check into my Airbnb early. After unpacking everything again, I went down to check out the beach and pool.

After today, I have 5 days left in Puerto Rico!
