My recent excursion to the local Thrift shop was not only to further develop my photographic skills, but also to illustrate the concept that you can find art and beauty everywhere!
Imperfections in glass make it beautiful!
I’m loving this citrus umbrella…
This hammered umbrella or walking stick stand is beautiful!
I remember this apparatus…The “Vita master”. It makes your feet feel good!
More of an artsy shot…
You can see the fibers of this artificial rose…but it’s still pretty!
More glass…
Lovely vases…
You know I love reflections. I think because what the mirror picks up…becomes part of the mirror!
Cool painting…
These chair backs look like faces to me…
The next time you need some inspiration or photos for your blog…just go to your local thrift shop!

Thanks for the shopping outing! Did you buy anything or simply photo-shop! ‘-)
Could use that foot massage machine, as I’ve been out on a ladder sawing bowing boughs of cedar and cypress following that heavy snow. If you have not seen my recent shopping spree, please visit “the impulse” on my blog…use search bar. Take care, Diane

This a great and fun gallery – the mirror shot is brilliant and so clear. My pick has to be the photo taking through the chair back. A very fun, colorful and playful post. Thanks.

What is a “thrift” shop? In UK this would be called something like a “Bric-A-Brac” shop, in Spanish a “Rastrillo” is this about right?
