Cycling, Hiking & Exploring in Denver

This past week I’ve cycled twice with two different meetup groups. The first group was small and we did about 30 miles on the Platte River Trail, Cherry Creek Trail, and the Highline Canal Trail.

There were about 20 people for the second ride. We cycled almost 30 miles on the Ralston Creek and Clear Creek trails. I enjoyed this ride the most. It was very scenic!

One morning I left around 5:30 a.m. and hiked 2 and 1/2 mi on a trail near Golden, Colorado. There was a couple rock climbing. She was at least 70 ft. high.

Afterwards, I explored the cute town of Golden. It hasn’t changed since my last visit 12 years ago.

I went to the Louisville street fair and outdoor concert with another Meetup group. It was nice meeting some new people, although it was too loud and crowded for me.

Yesterday, I went to City Park in Denver. I was going to a Meetup to listen to the outdoor jazz concert, but it was so hot I didn’t stay long.

I have a few hikes planned this week. I’m loving living in Colorado!

I'd love to hear what you have to say
