Saturday evening I met up with a Meetup group for dinner in downtown Denver. We then set up our chairs to watch the Denver Parade of lights. It was colorful and cold. My body was warm, but my feet and hands were not. I’m glad I went, but I probably won’t go again. Parades and fireworks just aren’t my thing. I don’t mean to sound like a bah humbug. I checked out parking spots ahead of time and chose one that was $21, but when I went to pay at the gate, it charged me $42.

Sunday, I went downtown again to check out the Denver Christkindlmarket. This time, I used an app called spot hero and found a parking garage for $6. I didn’t stay long, I just wanted to see what it was like. It’s a typical festival with crafts and food.

Remember I got three crowns in Tecate, Mexico. Well, one of my teeth has been very sensitive to cold and was only getting worse, so I went to a dentist here in Denver and he said some of the cement was stuck between the teeth at the gum line so he scraped it out. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Then I got a covid booster, to top the day off. 😅
Very colorful photos, Sherry! In your adventures you find a way to balance town and country!

Yes, I prefer countryside, but it is nice to occasionally go to a museum or something like that. Thanks for stopping by! Happy holidays!
