Yesterday was fun! I cycled 20 miles on Zion Canyon Scenic Road. Since there are mainly shuttle buses beginning April 1st, it was peaceful without traffic. Amazingly beautiful! I also volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in the medical cat house. There were 50 cats in this particular building that had a variety of issues. I played and snuggled with them and took some of them for a carriage ride, and cleaned one of the rooms. The one that’s pictured is paralyzed. The sanctuary is huge…33,000 acres. I plan on volunteering a few more times. Maybe with the dogs also. They have horses, parrots, rabbits, etc.

There was 1200 ft. elevation gain and I was a little worried as I reached the top because my e-bike battery indicator showed a little less than half of available battery life. When I finished I had two bars out of 10 left. 🥴
