The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Bajada Loop Drive, the Tucson Museum of Art, and El Presidio

This morning I drove 30 minutes and explored the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. It took about an hour and a half for me to see most of it. There’s a lot to see! The half mile desert walk was pretty and you could also check out some animals.

After that I drove into the Saguaro National Park and drove on dirt roads along the Bajada Loop drive.

I stopped at the Valley View Overlook trail, which is less than a mile long.

It took 45 minutes from there to drive back into Tucson, to the Tucson Museum of Art. I got in free since I’m a veteran.

There’s a yummy cafe at the Art Museum, so I ate first.

Salmon Benedict 😋

The historic district of downtown Tuscon aka El Presidio is also in this area. There are some outdoor cafes and little shops.

I came back to my Airbnb a little early since I wore myself out.
