In February, while recuperating from cataract removal surgery, I planned a 9-day solo road trip through Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Today was my first stop, Rock City Gardens, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

It’s difficult to describe what this place is like, it’s partly a waterfall, underground fairyland caverns for children and big people too, beautiful views, gardens, etc.

My Airbnb is nice. I’m having dinner delivered, I’m feeling like I need to be pampered a little.

Tomorrow is a big day, I have three or four hikes planned in different state parks.
