Yesterday I went on the Culebra Power Boat Snorkeling & Beach Tour through Sail Getaway. The tour departed from Fajardo, Puerto Rico and lasted 6 ½ hrs.

We had a full boat with 40 people. It rained for a few minutes before we boarded. I was first in line, as usual, and took a seat at the back of the boat. I knew this was the least bumpy area. Unfortunately, because the sea was so rough, that was the seat that got the most spray from the boat. I was baptized with ocean water for 75 minutes. Originally, I was going to take the ferry, but read multiple reviews of people complaining about vomit 🤮 from seasick people. Only two people got seasick on our boat. We snorkeled off the coast of the island of Culebra. I hadn’t snorkeled in 20 years, but took to it right away. I made friends with many of the people on the boat. There were couples from India, Brazil, Dominican Republic, and Jordan.

We had lunch and rum drinks, and then continued to the world-famous Flamenco Beach (not Flamingo) on the island of Culebra.

It was fun, but I was happy to be back.
