Exploring Roanoke, Virginia

Yesterday morning I drove seven hours from Northern Kentucky to Roanoke, Virginia. I’m on a solo 21 day road trip exploring the Eastern Seaboard from Virginia up through Massachusetts. In Roanoke I visited the Taubman Museum of Art. It was smaller than I expected, but it’s free.

I couldn’t have asked for a better weather day! Market Square in downtown Roanoke is charming.

The indoor market is spacious.

I drove 15 minutes up to Mill Mountain Star. The view is expansive!

The Airbnb I stayed at has its own entrance and is separate from the owners.

I don’t know how much acreage they have, but it’s beautiful in the back!

I only stayed one night and today I’m driving to Annapolis, Maryland.
