Yesterday I drove from Hartford, Vermont to the town of Lake Saranac. The drive through Vermont was exceptionally lovely! I took back roads and really love Vermont. After my deep dive research, I decided to drive an extra hour and a half around the Saranac chain of lakes. There weren’t that many places to access the lakes, but I found some. The first photo is my favorite. It’s a spot on frog pond.

These photos are of Flower Lake in the town of Saranac Lake.

After touring the chain of lakes, I arrived in Lake Placid. It’s prettier than I thought it would be! The scattered homes/lodging on Mirror Lake are nice.

The town itself is quaint. I stopped for lunch on the outdoor patio at the Brown Bear and had a nice view of Mirror Lake.

Today I’m going to go bicycling and drive up Whiteface Mountain!
This looks like a wonderful place to visit, especially as it offers stunning scenery, a wide range of water activities, and a quieter alternative to nearby Lake Placid. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

Such lovely waterfront photography you’ve shared, dear Sherry! It would seem that, like Colorado, Vermont also has ample beauty in landscape scenery to enjoy. Wishing you a great day, my friend! 🌺😘

I’ve only briefly visited Vermont (two days), and have seen very little. These images are so inviting!

These are actually of the Lake Placid region. I didn’t take photos of my drive-thru Vermont, but it’s lovely!

Ah, got it. So I hear. I’ve seen more of New York state, but not Lake Placid. I especially loved Niagra Falls and the Finger Lakes area.

I was in the finger Lakes area either last year or the year before, The state parks there are gorgeous!
