Yesterday, it didn’t rain until late evening and the Roman bridge has been reopened. I had an early dinner and went to Bodega Mezquita Ribera Restaurant. I had sangria, the Mazamorra Cordobesa la Antepasada Blanca del Salmorejo (a cold almond soup), Eggplant with Sweet Wine Reduction, and Oxtail Risotto and Aged Sheep’s Cheese. I loved the first two, and the risotto was good, but not as good as the first two.

Afterwards I wandered around the Jewish quarter. There’s a bit more rain in the forecast for a few days, but then it’s supposed to get sunny. The older I get, the less I like precipitation, and weather below 40° or above 70°. I noticed a lot of people looking at their phones, either walking or at the restaurant. They look like they’re addicted 😅. I have an excuse, I’m looking at mine for directions or to take photos.

Talk to you soon!
So glad to see you in Spain. Your posts and pics are informing as well as beautiful.

People looking at their phones while walking aren’t just dangerous; they’re being discourteous. But then again, all those you’re seeing might be locals who’ve grown up around the area and are accustomed to seeing all those beautiful sites and don’t think too much about them anymore. As a tourist, though, you’re definitely paying attention and that’s one reason why I love all the photos you post!
