Antequera is a wonderful day trip from either Cordoba or Malaga by bus or train. It’s the location of important ancient burial mounds and a Moorish fortress. The bus brings you directly into town, whereas the train station is located 11 miles away and requires taking another train or taxi into town. A few minutes from there I arrived at the Alcazaba de Antequera and the Gibralfaro castle. As I was purchasing my ticket, this little kitty was looking through the window.

And just outside, this guy was waiting.  It’s odd that I haven’t seen any cats in Cordoba.

Before heading back to catch my 5:20pm bus back to Cordoba, I stopped at Bar La Socorrilla for a drink and tapas. Don’t ask me what I ate 🤷
