I Left my Airbnb at 8:30 a.m., headed to a nearby restaurant for breakfast. Although their opening time was listed as 8:00 a.m., when I arrived they said not until 9:15 a.m. so I walked a few minutes to a place that supposedly has the best churros, Chocolates y Churros San Agustín. I had one chocolate filled and one called lechera, that had a sweet cream filling, they were very good.

I purchased a few gifts at Mercado de Artesanías.

I had read that the public library had amazing murals so I walked a few minutes to Pública de San Miguel de Allende.

Next I walked 20 minutes uphill for a great view of the city at Mirador San Miguel de Allende.

Here are a few of the other sites I saw today.

There are lots of cool doors here and knockers that are shaped like hands.

Sherry loving your stories and posts. That was quite a hike up but great shots. Glad you decided to stop picking people up. Is travelling and retirement great!
