I went to a friend’s house Saturday evening. We played with his Mastiff dog Fred, and he is massive 🐾. For dinner we made my recipe for sea bass and a side dish with asparagus, peas, shallots, and honey. We both kept remarking how good it was.

Mother’s Day is a difficult day for me since my son passed away. My brother and his wife reached out and asked if I would like to meet at Newport on the levee (located on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River, just across from Cincinnati). We walked around, had a drink, and then ate at a new Cuban restaurant called Amador. It was tasty.

So far, this week I’ll be taking a bike ride, leading a hike, and joining a friend to kayak. Have a great week!
