Biking, hiking, and Salsa dancing

A friend and I decided to take our e-bikes to the Little Miami bike trail on Wednesday. The weather was perfect! We rode 18 miles total. Our turnaround point was Loveland, Ohio where we celebrated his birthday. We each had a glass of sangria and some lunch.

On our ride back to the Milford bike trailhead, there were these fun 20′ somethings throwing big rocks into the Little Miami River. I stopped to ask what they were doing and they wanted me to take their photo. It’s nice to see young people doing wholesome things in nature.

Yesterday, I led a group of nine people on a 3.5 mile hike at Devou Park. I really enjoy these hikes, we get exercise and everyone is chatting. The woods were so lush and verdant.

Last night, my friend Linda and I met one of her friends at a weekly event at fountain square called “Salsa on the Square”. They gave a couple of lessons and we participated. It was fun. I got a little antsy so I walked a few blocks towards the river where another event was happening called “Rockin the Roebling”. I saw some people that I knew and chatted for a bit, there was a band there also.

On the walk back, the city lights were pretty. Fountain square is beautiful at night!

I’m supposed to go on another hike tomorrow, so that should be fun!
