Today I hiked the .7 mile Little Zig Zag trail. It was very relaxing with the water running alongside the entire trail. The waterfall at the end was nice.

Then I drove to Mirror Lake and hiked 4.2 mi. It was uphill most of the way, really got the heart pumping. There was a view of Mt Hood from here also, but not quite as good as Trillium Lake.

I’m back at the Airbnb for some R&R. The hosts are gone for the day so I have the place to myself. I hear the hot tub calling me 🙂 I leave tomorrow for a drive along the Columbia River Gorge on the Washington side, and then I’ll spend one night at an Airbnb in Washington on the border.
p.s. Shoulder update: I’m learning how to live with my injury for the time being, what I can and can’t do, to protect it from popping out of socket.
Les photos sont superbes, elles donnent envie…

Do you ever go hiking?

I like the way you slow down and reflect on your pictures. I usually wait until later and lose some place names. Also you curate as you go which I think would be helpful.
Glad your arm is manageable. Hike on
