Taughannock Falls State Park, Buttermilk Falls State Park, Ithaca Falls, and Cornell Botanic Gardens, New York

My first stop this morning was Taughannock Falls State Park. It was an easy 1.5 mile, mostly flat hike. The waterfall has a 215-ft drop.

Then I drove into Ithaca, and walked through the Cornell Botanic Gardens. It was small, but very pretty.

Ithaca Falls is right there in town, so it’s definitely worth a stop.

Lastly, I did a 1.5 mile hike around Buttermilk Falls State Park. There were lots of cascading waterfalls along the trail, and lots of steps going up for almost 3/4 of a mile.

I leave for Ottawa, Canada tomorrow morning. 🇨🇦
