Learning to relax

I think I’ve finally reached the point where I don’t feel guilty just relaxing. I’m a somewhat goal-oriented person, so I’m glad that now I don’t feel useless when I binge watch Netflix or lay in bed reading. Mixed in with relaxing, I went with a couple of girlfriends to listen to the Billy Rock Band. It was an outdoor event and we danced 💃

I made a delicious, healthy blueberry cobbler that includes almond flour, and maple syrup. There’s no white sugar in it.

I led another hike and had a great turnout! I met a new girlfriend on the hike. She invited me to go on a 3 mile walk from Newport, Kentucky across the bridge to walk along the Ohio River on the Cincinnati side.

Friday night a friend and I listened to a blues band and danced.

Last night I went with friends to a concert the Kentucky Symphony orchestra held at Devou Park. They played big band music, which none of us are big fans of, but it was nice to sit outside on the lawn.

Hope everyone’s enjoying their summer!
