Colorado National Monument Loop Drive and wine tasting in Palisade

Yesterday I drove from Glenwood Springs to Grand Junction and drove the Colorado National Monument loop drive. If people are afraid of heights, I wouldn’t do this drive. I think the colors may have turned out even better if it had been later morning or in the afternoon. But it was gorgeous!

Afterwards I had a late breakfast and walked on Main Street in Grand Junction, it’s a cute town.

Then I drove to Palisade and had a glass of wine at Carlson Vineyards Winery.

And since I had to wait to check into my Airbnb, I went to Colterris Vineyards and had a glass. Both wines were very good.

I took a photo of these ladies and then I asked them to pose for me. Such a lovely setting!

The view from my Airbnb is beautiful!

Today I drive to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

I'd love to hear what you have to say
