It’s been raining incessantly here in Andalusia and I’ve been itching to take a day trip. I saw there would be a break from the rain yesterday, so I took a 30 min. bus from Cordoba to visit the Castillo de Almodóvar del Río. This was the filming location for Highgarden from the Game of Thrones. It did not disappoint! The views were spectacular.

I feel sorry for this farmer! The flooding has been bad.

There were lots of steps, my poor knees were not happy 😔

My next adventure will be the town of Antequera!
