Malaga Museums and Mercado de Atarazanas

Today’s a rainy day, so I’m catching up on some things. On Monday I visited the Centre Pompidou Málaga, a Contemporary Art Museum. The large colorful block is at street level and the museum is underneath. There’s a nice display of art.

I walked along the Malaga promenade aka Palmeral de Las Sorpresas.

And finished up with a visit to the Mercado de Atarazanas. It was much larger than I expected and busy!

Yesterday, I explored the Picasso Museum and the Malaga Museum. I made a reservation for the Picasso Museum and there was quite a line when I arrived for entry, even with tickets. It was nice, but I’ve been to more interesting museums.

I liked the Malaga Museum better. I made some of my own art while I was there. In fact, after I showed the photo to the couple in this first photo, they had me send it to them via WhatsApp. I rarely heard people speak English in Cordoba, but there are lots here.

When I got back to my apartment, the landlord brought over some homemade stew. It was delicious!

Tomorrow is supposed to be partly sunny, so I’ll get out again. I hope you have a wonderful day!
