Sunday I went with a group called Worship in the Wild and hiked 5.5 miles in Candler, North Carolina, not far from Asheville. They were very friendly and the hike was somewhat challenging, just the way I like it.

I recently joined the Henderson County Welcome Club and met a group of ladies to walk at The Park at Flat Rock.

Yesterday, I drove 50 minutes to a restaurant at Lake Lure. It was another Meetup event and the food was delicious! I had lasagna, which I haven’t had in years.

I stopped at the lake first and took a few photos. It was damaged during Hurricane Helene and recently reopened. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
