Grandad’s Apples and the North Carolina State Fair

I had two dates with a guy, and as usual I was hopeful, but there were too many red flags.  I recently went hiking with a new group. It was a pretty hike and I made another friend. She and I went for a walk a couple of days ago.

I’ve driven by lots of farms that sell apples, pumpkins, and homemade goodies and decided to check out Grandad’s Apples. It’s a lovely place with lots of apple trees, flowers, and a peaceful pond. I purchased some of their famous spiced cider donuts. They were delish.

Yesterday I went to the North Carolina State Fair with a friend. It was held in between Asheville and Hendersonville. Lots of rides and games and junk food. There were a couple of large venues with vendors selling all types of crafts and some barns with animals.

My hair is growing, but I’m getting a little impatient…

Today I’m going with a group to a farm to see some shaggy highland cows. Have a great weekend!
