Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is “Earth“! My first photograph is in the Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan. I love this particular rock formation, along with the exotic look the camels add to it…
While on vacation in August 2011, I spotted this beautiful Eagle in Pugent Sound, Seattle, Washington
This almost looks like a volcano with the cloud formations. Photo taken in New Mexico…
Photograph taken in Peru near Ballesta Islands…
I climbed a tall tower to capture a shot of the Nazca Lines in Peru…
Sacsayhuaman Ruins overlook the lovely City of Cusco in Peru…
I never tire of these photo challenges!

Beautiful! The shot in New Mexico is the mountain called Pedernal near Abiquiu. It is featured a lot in Georgia O’Keefe’s work. She lived there and loved to paint there because of the fantastic light, which is awesome in your shot!

As always, great photos! By the way, thanks for reminding me the name of the Nazca Lines – I’ve been trying (and failing) to come up with it for a while now.

Thank you very much! I’ve only used a tripod for one phot0…of the moon in Africa. I usually hold my breath when I snap. 🙂
