Mount Adams in Spring

This beautiful young lady was sitting by some art work in Mount Adams during the Art Walk and I asked her if I could take her photo.

As I walked up and down the streets, I discovered interesting architecture and nature’s art everywhere.  This small tree growing through a colorful fence is quite unique.

  1. Beautiful young woman … and he sits well in your gallery. The bird house just adorable, so that is my pick. I gives me spring feelings. Yes, we have the same taste in .. a lot .. I think, You pick objects that I would have picked … for my camera.

  2. AWESOME! I love the colours. That tree growing through the fence is amazing. I could totally see that as a metaphor for a story. Could I possibly use your photo in a blog post and give you credit please? 🙂
I have a thing for spiral staircases too. They always catch my eye. LOVE the last photo.

  3. I enjoyed this immensely and always feel like I am in your pocket or by your side. I like your ability to tell us briefly what the sights are and we can enjoy the beauty of the photos. I definitely love the brightness of the buildings and the unique little “pocket” is in the fence where the tree is growing!

    • Yes John…I agree. I didn’t even notice it. It’s important in life to not focus too much on the exterior! I mean of course we notice beauty when we see it, but I see beauty in people many times that they themselves don’t see.

      • Yes! And for this reason it’s good for us to become “mirrors” into which those we surround ourselves may look. So that they may see what they are like. Other times it’s good to become empty, so that others may see the vast empty scape within, soon to be filled with emptiness yet again, or… with something inexplicably beautiful. Just what that filling is? Well… that’s the surprise that life gives us! Sometimes it comes as a blessing disguised as a curse!
