The streets of Antigua, Guatemala are paved with beautiful cobblestones and most of the buildings are one-story high. After checking into our Airbnb, my group and I left to wander the magical City!
Everywhere we went, there was something colorful and beautiful to view!
That is one of the things I love about traveling, always being surprised by what’s around the next corner!
The Mayan women had lots of woven fabrics to sell…
The lady whose home we were staying at through Airbnb recommended a restaurant for a late lunch and we asked to be seated on the roof top. This trio serenaded us while we ate…
I had a refreshing glass of Sangria!
With three nights to enjoy the City, I’ll be back with lots more to share!
So much culture. So much beauty! I myself would rather be in sunny warm Guatemala than in cold winter Canada right now lol! 😀
Keep posting! Infinite peace and wisdom!

It would have been a shame to visit Guatemala in the old days with only a black and white camera. These pics are wonderfully colourful.

Antigua is one of my favorite places. I spent about 5 months total there learning Spanish. You have to eat breakfast at Dona Luisas if you haven’t already done so.

We had breakfasts at our Airbnb…would’ve loved to have dined there. I imagine there’s a soft spot in your heart for Antigua after living there for 5 months!
