Vacay from my vacay in San Miguel de Allende

A few days ago I decided to book a two night trip to San Miguel de Allende. This morning I took an Uber from my Airbnb in Mexico City to the Norte bus depot and boarded a bus that left at 7:15 a.m. for San Miguel de Allende.  The ride took 3 1/2 hours. I took an Uber one mile to my Airbnb, which is located above a Cafe called Amapola.  They stored my luggage and I had lunch there.

I went exploring, my first destination was Parque Benito Juárez.  It was so beautiful because there were flower vendors in the entire park, flowers everywhere! There was some type of Entertainment on a stage.

The Parish of San Miguel Arcangel is gorgeous!

El Jardin Allende and the surrounding area was also picturesque.

The Centro Cultural Ignacio Ramírez El Nigromante had a really cool room and the courtyard was peaceful.

Named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2008 and chosen, for the sixth time, the “Best Small City in the World” in the “Readers’ Choice Awards”, by Condé Nast Traveler magazine, you see why as you wander down the cobblestone streets lined with beautiful architecture, shady Plazas, boutique shops, fine dining, and color everywhere! I saw much more and took many photos, but I think that’s enough for now.
