It was early morning when I left my Airbnb in Crescent City, California. Ten minutes later I was on Howland Hill Road entering Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. I was the only one there, since it was only a little after 6:00 a.m. I took some photos while on the road.

20 minutes down the gravel road I hiked the 1.7 mile Grove of Titans trail.

A little further down I hiked the 0.7 mile Stout Grove trail.

I drove three hours to Prospect State Scenic Viewpoint to see the waterfalls. (On the way to Crater Lake)

I stopped at the Natural Bridge scenic area.

Had a meal at Becky’s Cafe and finished driving to Crater Lake Lodge. There was a long line to get in the park, about a 45 minute wait 🤪 The desk clerk told me that half of the park is still closed because of the record snowfall. It’s in the ’80s today and sunny!

It’s so beautiful!
I like how you captured the depth of the trees & the surroundings. Very cool!

Thanks, Annie! I was, but last night I was trying to turn off the side light next to the bed with my bad arm and made it worse. 😞
