Cycling The Loop trail in Tucson and viewing the sunset

I love to cycle and Tucson is a great place for it! I rented an e-bike and cycled 36 miles. The Cañada del Oro River Trail section along the Oro valley was my favorite and the most scenic portion. The day started off chilly, but warmed up to the mid ’70s. I’m low in Vitamin D, seriously, so I sat in the sun with a sleeveless shirt for about 30 minutes with no sunscreen.

Then I did a 2.9 mi hike called the Tumamoc Hill Trail. It’s one of the few trails open after dark, so I could see the sunset. The elevation change was 721 ft., so you get a good workout.

Three days left in Tucson before I head to the Scottsdale area.
