I’ve been on a few dates lately. I went walking with one man in the Licking Riverside historic district, Covington… just across the river from Cincinnati. He seemed like a nice guy, but it wasn’t a match. We did a little mini photo shoot and I took some of him also. I went to dinner with another gentleman, he brought me some flowers, which was very nice.
I invited him over to my pool for our second meeting.
I went for a walk with another gentleman.
I’ve been trying some new recipes. This one is a prosciutto, egg, red potatoes and cheese tart. Very tasty, but I’ve been dairy-free for a bit and I’m not sure my tummy liked it. My mouth did. 😅
I’m sure many have had this, but it was a new recipe for me, watermelon, cucumber, feta cheese, etc. salad. Very good!
I led another hike, the weather was beautiful!
I was sitting on my back patio and noticed this owl in the tree. It reminded me of my late husband. Where we lived there were owls that would hoot at night.
Summer will be over before you know it.

Interesting you had a date with a man at a place with the word “licking” in it! LOL! The owl you saw may be a sign from your late husband that he’s still watching out for you, but it’s okay for you to forward with your life.
