Yesterday was a mostly drizzly and totally cloudy day. I took my time in the morning and left much later than usual from my Santa Cruz Airbnb. Luckily I was able to check in early at my Carmel Airbnb. I explored the trendy area of Carmel by the Sea, which is filled with art galleries, wineries, boutique shops and Hansel and Gretel homes.

The Hansel and Gretel homes were cute.

Today I may see a movie, I’m not sure what I’ll do.
It’s a beautiful little town. Visited in 2009 … long time ago

Check out the beautiful and historic Carmel Mission. Also the Monterey Bay Aquarium is probably the worlds #1 aquarium in the world and is a destination in itself. The John Steinbeck Museum in Salinas is fantastic too.
