This week I cycled solo on the Lobo Trail. It stretches from Longmont to Boulder and I cycled about 27 miles. As you can see, it was very scenic! The mountains in the distance were dramatic. The trail meanders through farmland, residential areas and past Twin Lakes.

On Tuesday I solo hiked the Rattlesnake Gulch Trail in El Dorado Canyon State Park. Because I get such an early start, I rarely see anyone for much of the hike. I was on the lookout for rattlesnakes, but luckily didn’t see any. The view from the top of the continental divide is nice.

Wednesday I went for a bike ride with one of the groups I belong to. There were almost 20 of us. That’s me with the neon orange shirt, goofing around. A couple of the ladies are a little grouchy. 😂

Yesterday I drove to Estes Park and then on to Rocky Mountain National Park. I went hiking with a baby boomers group I belong to and arrived early so I stopped at Estes Lake and took a few pictures. It was nice to see the wildlife.

The hike was the prettiest so far and also the longest with the most elevation game. We did about 6 miles.

Hope your weekend is great!
27 miles is a serious ride! 🚲
