Beginning of September in Colorado

Wednesday I went for a 2.5 mi solo hike at White Ranch. I arrived early and was the only hiker until close to the end.

It was so peaceful. I’m not sure I would have been as peaceful if I had noticed this sign at the beginning of the hike…

Later that day I cycled 14 miles on the Ralston Creek Trail. I really enjoyed it. The weather is great right now… actually it’s great most of the time 😊 Some sites I saw on my bike ride.

It was unusual to see horseback riders in a neighborhood

Thursday I had a big day. I went hiking with a Meetup group and we did about 5 mi at Cheesman Canyon. It was beautiful!

I’m on the left

Driving there the final road is a 2.5 mi dirt road that was a little scary. You can’t tell so much from this photo but it was up high and disconcerting.

Saturday I did a solo hike at Chautauqua Park in Boulder. A few leaves were beginning to change.

I joined Match again, and had a date with a nice man on Sunday. We were kidding around in a store trying on different hats.

I met him Monday and we did a hike at Waterton Canyon. There were lots of sheep and deer on the trail.

Hope everyone’s having a great week!
