Hosting my first party in Colorado

I’ve been doing the usual, hiking and cycling. Tuesday I joined a new Meetup group and did a 5.5 mile trail, (1000-ft elevation gain) in Evergreen.

Wednesday I cycled with a friend. It was around Bear Creek Lake. Very pretty! The autumn colors are still vibrant here in the Denver metro area.

Thursday, I did my usual hike with the baby boomers. We did a 5.5 mile trail (1,000 ft. elev.) in Staunton State Park. I’ve been wanting to go to that Park. Beautiful views!

My first party was a hit! There were about 10 of us. I met everyone through Meetup groups. They’re all positive nice people. One of the guys from Boulder brought a pinata (from the No Kings protest) with Trump’s eyes on it and said we couldn’t burst it because it was full of s***. 😅. They loved the view of the mountains.  We even danced!

Today I get my Colorado driver’s license! I already have my Colorado license plates. Have a great week!
