Hiking the Caminito del Rey in Spain


Yesterday, I went on a guided tour through Get Your Guide and hiked the Caminito del Rey. It’s an unforgettable experience! The bus ride is about one hour from Malaga. It’s a 7.5 km walk, with sections that are suspended 100 m high above the Gaitanes Gorge. It used to be one of the world’s most dangerous hikes, but they renovated it in 2015.

I was a bit apprehensive, but it wasn’t scary at all.

You can see the water below from this last bridge you cross, so I didn’t look down 😅 I’m proud of myself for getting a little out of my comfort zone.
