Tuesday I drove from Charleston to Columbia, South Carolina. I’ve never been to Columbia and wanted to visit the Columbia Museum of Art. I’ve been to lots of Art museums, and I really liked this museum. I tend to like unique and quirky art.

Next, I drove to Charlotte, North Carolina. I’ve been to Charlotte once 22 years ago. I really don’t remember anything about it. I wanted to explore the Mint Museum Uptown. This Museum didn’t disappoint. Very interesting! The older I get, the less I enjoy cities. I knew where I was going to park, but it’s still a hassle.

It’s only 2 hours from Charlotte to Hendersonville, where I’m living temporarily, but I’m glad I reserved a hotel room to rest. Here’s a photo of the Charlotte skyline from my hotel room, before dark and after dark.

That’s a wrap for my mini road trip!
