Monday, I drove half an hour from Folly Beach to the Charleston Historic District and followed a pre-planned 2-mile walking route. I love this colorful and lush architecture!

The Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is located half an hour from downtown Charleston. The grounds and gardens are lovely! I toured the inside also, but I’m more interested in nature. It’s a sad part of history because of the past slavery.

Tuesday I departed Folly Beach and headed to Columbia, South Carolina. I’ll post tomorrow about that.
