Road trip to Blowing Rock, North Carolina

I left yesterday morning on a road trip from Hendersonville to Blowing Rock, North Carolina. My first stop was hiking Erwin’s View Trail to see Linvale Falls.

I took the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway to Grandfather Mountain.  The views from the Mile High Swinging Bridge were spectacular! The leaves are peaking. Autumn is my favorite season!

I stopped at a small lake on the drive. So pretty!

My next destination was Boone, North Carolina. It’s a college town and has a nice vibe. I had lunch there.

It was only a 20-minute drive to Blowing Rock, my final destination for the day. It’s delightfully charming! Almost every shop and or restaurant was decorated.

Today I’m making my way to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

I'd love to hear what you have to say
