With just two days to explore Philadelphia by foot, I saw some beautiful architecture, flowers and scenery. I don’t remember the name of this park, but it is beautiful!
Looks like this new store sells everything that’s bad for you…
As you can see, this was the site of William Penn’s residence and the Seat of Government in 1700.
Handsome horse and man…
This moss stained brick wall caught my eye…
Interesting place to have a cemetery…
Beautiful spring flowers…
There are so many wonderful buildings and architecture to feast your eyes on in Philadelphia…
Pretty Church…
And wrought-iron fence…
I was reminded of Charleston’s Architecture.
Come back…there’s more of Philadelphia tomorrow!

There is a fabulous street Flea Market twice a year around the First Presbyterian Church, collectable, not junk and it attracts people from all over Pennsylvania. You would love it and your gallery of the city is just great ! I hope you got to some of the better restaurants as well!

Thanks! No, I wasn’t able to dine at any nice restaurants. On a budget. Hopefully, another time. 🙂

My pick has to be the row of houses … because they have the same basements entrance as our houses had once; my grandparents had an entrance like that. I was also in Philly during spring and I remember all the flowers, the backstreets and .. that is was a very clean city. Fantastic gallery … and your photos bring me back every time. Enjoy your posts so much. Still waiting for the bell *smiling.

Michelle – I think it’s at a Church. I don’t remember. When I get home from my trip I could look it up if you’d like.
